This 1976 Yamaha XT500 Enduro is powered by a 499cc four-stroke single paired with a five-speed transmission and finished in white with red and black graphics. Equipment includes a high-exit muffler, a cross-braced handlebar, street lighting, a side stand, high-mount fenders, a kick starter, and wire-spoke wheels.The bodywork has been finished in white with red and black graphics and is mounted over a black frame. Equipment includes a 2.3-gallon fuel tank, a reupholstered black vinyl seat, a right-side mirror, street lighting, and a side stand.Aluminum rims measuring 21″ up front and 18″ out back are laced to hubs with drum brakes and were mounted with Bridgestone Trail Wing tires by the seller. Suspension consists of a conventional fork as well as dual preload-adjustable shocks mounted to the swingarm.A replacement cross-braced chrome handlebar features rubber grips and is mounted ahead of a 100-mph speedometer and a 10k-rpm tachometer with inset indicator lights for turn signals, high beam, and neutral gear position. The five-digit odometer shows 5567 miles, approximately 10 of which were ridden by the seller.The air-cooled 499cc four-stroke single was factory rated at 32 horsepower and features two valves, a single overhead camshaft, a 32mm Mikuni carburetor, and a low-slung headpipe with a high-exit muffler and black-finished heat shields. The kick starter features a compression release linkage. Oil is stored in the frame backbone.Power is sent to the rear wheel through a five-speed transmission and a replacement drive chain and sprockets. Clear New York State Title in Hand
